The scene: School playground. I'd arrived early and was chatting with the Granny of one of Adam's classmates who looks after her granddaughter once a week. She's ever so lovely and also very glamorous. Doesn't look a day over 45 and is clearly a Granny that takes good care of herself.
The school day finishes, the doors open and my first born comes charging up to me.
'Mummy' he says looking directly at said Granny 'when you're that old will you be dead?'
In Bosnia no one else understood me when I was expressing an opinion to my children, so I used to do it all the time. Serves me bloody right!
